I'm pretty sure Wolverine doesn't do any racing anymore. He had some sort of accident. That car was fast as hell, but it still probably doesn't have the speed.

This car is/was owned by a very rich guy who knew what he was doing. The car is made to do what it does. The car has taken out a few 240+ hp bikes already (ZX14r on nitrous and turbo Busa).

I'll see if I can find a vid of the races if I get a chance. I know there used to be a couple posted on Supraforums.

Joe's GT hasnt been 1000hp for a while now. Last I heard it broke the stock crank at 1453whp, and he was building another motor, but I know its been 1300+whp for quite a while now.

And yeah last thing I saw from Wolverine was on Turbomustangs like 2 years ago and he said he had just made 1200whp or something and was still in the fine tuning stages of the car, but I hadnt heard of any accident, although it wouldnt suprise me.

But yeah, if you can find the vids post em up, I love to see giant HP cars racing everything or just hauling ass.

When referring to the TTGT, are you guys talking about the Red Ford GT w/ twin GT35r's on it? Just wondering.

Yes its red, but I'm pretty sure it has bigger than twin GT35r's. It might have had those when he first turboed it, but I though he had twin GT42's on most recently.

Probably does, I was referring to what I read about it in a magazine a long time ago. I've been out of the scene a while. Who fabbed/installed that set-up? Strictly Performance out of Texas?

Just watched that video again. I remember watching it a long time ago. I think it's funny how they try to portray him as a "true car guy" and not just a rich guy that throws money at his car. Could be wrong, but in the video, he seems to be clueless.

Eh, he does drive the piss out of it, and he loves fast cars. He just doesnt know enough to do it himself. But then again, if I had as much money as he does, I wouldnt do my own work either.

Doing your own work has little to do with it IMO... With an "exotic car" (I personally don't consider the Ford GT to be an exotic car regardless of the price tag, the technology, the power, or the exclusiveness of it--but obviously others do) you wouldn't really be expected to do your own work. I would hold a GT to the same standards as a Murcielago. You wouldn't do some backyard one off turbo install on a Murcielago, so why do it with a GT?

I think turning a wrench is only one small aspect of being an enthusiast.
