Damn man. You are def. going to have a nice ride with deep pockets like that. The best advice I can put towards what Dave and Jeremy are going to tell you is LEARN HOW TO DRIVE THE CAR FIRST. Not joking. All of those parts don't mean anything if you spin the car around and wreck. GL and hop on www.s2ki.com for any info or parts.
A cage for "show" is about the most retarded thing I've ever heard of... followed closely by your desire to have tow hooks because they "look cool". What a fucking joke.

Cut him some slack. You can tell he is def. a young guy new to the S2000 scene and trying to have the best thing as fast as possible without any knowledge of the parts or car.
OP, sorry if I am wrong about you being young, but you sound like my n00b little brother about to get his first car and mod it .

Why else do you mod the outside of the car besides for it to look cool.. it does something for you doesnt it? if it didnt, i doubt youd do it...
And, ya im only 21 =\ Everything I purchased was purchased b/c I wanted it, even if you guys dont think "its cool" is irrelevant... I was asking what you guys thought about the parts..
honestly man, you shouldnt mod it at all for a couple months. get used to driving it and if you see yourself liking it and wanting to keep it. i wouldnt go overboard for the money and everything with the parts.. if you have the cash thats fine, but i wouldnt recommend you finance all the parts.. if you want to turbo it, buying a 1500 dollar header is a complete waste.. if that is your goal then buy yourself the turbo kit, shortblock or whatever, to me all those appearance mods are a complete waste.
You will learn in time. Some of us just don't have the cash to learn as fast as you have today lol. But hey man if it doesn't hurt you to waste some money then keep it up. It's your car. But really to avoid wasting ALOT of money with this car, read up on the parts from people that have had them.

Why? When an intelligent person gets into a new platform they will drive the car, figure out what they want to improve upon, and research the heck out of their options so as to make educated decisisions. This kid is just dumb.

There's a big difference between tailoring the car to suite your desires and making it a poser. Putting a fake cage and tow hooks on a "show car" are retarded. I don't understand the whole "make my show car look like a race car" show thing that many imports do.

If you had the cash why are you putting it on a credit card?
My one bit of advice.... figure out what your long term goals for the car are and develop a plan. You will save a ton of money and headache in the long run. I advise not buying anything yet. Drive the car for a few months and learn how to drive it. See what you want to improve upon and go from there. If your goal is to turbo charge it then do that... don't waste time on NA mods that won't get you shit for power on that little two liter.
