Post a pic of your offroader/4x4.
Dana 44's and Lockers I can install myself for CHEAP, Not to mention the newer Lockers that come in the Rubicons are "Electronic" and the gears I can do myself also.
So 10-12,000 Extra ontop of what you are paying for A Sticker, Axles, Lockers and gears is a big FUCK no in my book..
I can install everything and parts included for less than 2,000
Most of my buddies have Auto's as well.. I love it

You're riding on some ragged out parts then. I wish I had gotten the Rubi when I had the chance. If it were a JK it would still be under warranty and if I broke a 44 or locker Jeep would be fixing it. Then when the warranty is up spend the money you saved from breaking those 44s and having jeep pay for it on some 1tons. You get what you pay for is all I'm saying. I've wheeled with plenty of Rubi's and Non-Rubi's and everyone agrees that if you can afford it then you should go for it.

) if I could go back in time. I would have also made sure I picked a Jeep that had A/C. Taking the doors and top off on a 90 degree day do NOT make up for not having air conditioning! lol...Maybe he just has a really good connection for parts. It does seem unrealistic, but who knows?
Also you never addressed the NP241 with 4:1. I know all JKs come with the 241 now but only rubicons have the 4:1. Look up how much an atlas 4:1 transfer case is, go ahead I dare ya try finding a used one too, there are barely any out there because anyone who buys one is KEEPING it in there jeep forever. You factor in quality parts + labor its worth it.
I don't necessarily agree with you 100% on everything you're saying, but I agree with your overall point... I would have started with a Rubicon or a Rubihara (

So, why all you guys stealing Ford's 31 spline 8.8 then if the D44's are so0o0o good?
I kidd I kidd.
Also.. Don't use the Mustang's 28 - 8.8.. I've seen some tards do that.. ugh.
I want an old Waggy D44 up front if any of you can get a hold of one for me!

My plans are to do an 8.8 rear and either D44 front or HP30 front. I'd like to do one ton's and stretch it, but I don't see that happening in the next year to say the least. I'll have to get another car before I can consider turning this into a buggy... lol

When I really build up my jeep more than it is now d44s wouldnt cut it anyways so the extra money for a rubi wasn't worth it for me. D44 and d30 work plenty well with 33s for daily and not having a heavy foot when wheeling.
Starting without lockers and huge tires will improve your skills in the long run because you will learn how to choose better lines which will only help you more when you do move up.
