If money allows, go with the Fatboy so you get the Big Twin and can keep up more comfortably on the highway if you do HOG rides or anything like that.

Both are true, my old man grew up running with the Pegan's MC and owned nothing but HD's.. He now has a Road King and a Fat Boy, They are HUGE bikes by far compared to the 883.
Im 6'0 195 Pounds and I feel like a ant on the Road King and about even with the Fat Boy. I was looking at the Fourty-Eight as well, but that bitch is tiny!! haha
I will be doing City Riding and occasional ride to VA Beach
I've rode an 883 around the city for a day or two and had no complaints or problems on the highway. Buddy rode it to DC and back a few times and didn't complain. For the price, it's a solid bike...that said, you can usually find a dealer with a year or two older 1200 on the floor for a similar price.

Nice.
Yea, pop's said the same thing. He asked "Why would you want an 883 when you can get a 1200 for around the same price" I personally have never riden a 1200.
1200 seem's like alot of cc's for a small frame bike like the 1200. How does it compare to ... let's say a CRB1000RR? Power wise? Because that is all I can really base my assumptions on.
