Cycle whore thread
Guy Martin at Isle of Man. TT3D finally released in the US a few weeks ago and I watched it the night it was delivered (after kicking everyone out of the house, turning off all the lights, and turning the 7.1 to 90% of course). Disappointed I couldn't see it on the big screen, but still glad we actually even got it. I think everyone who's been at the track would sell their first born just to get the chance to compete there. Goes without saying it's #1 on the bucket list. You sir, just moved way up on the cool scale.
For those who have no idea wtf he's talking about:

Most of these guys have ironclad balls of steel, yet still come off very down to earth when you see them in interviews (apart from Guy, of course). I remember seeing Ian Hutchinson getting off the bike after a hot lap around the Isle, then heading straight over to pushing the baby carriage with his wife at his side. Meanwhile the cameras come up and he just looks up in his 1 piece all hunched over pushing, "oh hai guys". They just have that secret passion for the TT races, and ability to actually pull off dragging elbows through the winding roads of a city, and the balls to do it on a cliffside. This all comes secondary, of course, it's just a side of effect of getting from a to b in the fastest way possible.

Have you noticed they pulled almost every online reference to "Isle of Man" deaths? Wiki and the TT site use to publicly list it, now it seems they recently pulled the list from everywhere. I know they are starting to get heat, some are calling for it to be banned because every year several die. Best thing I could find on it is this snipped from wiki: "Between 1907 and 2009 (at the end of 2009 TT races period) there have been 237 deaths during official practices or races on the Snaefell Mountain Course (this number includes the riders killed during Manx Grand Prix and the Clubman TT races)."
