Cycle whore thread
I haven't a clue. I want them all.
A New/Newish Ninja 650 makes the most sense. Standard seating, cheapish insurance, some weather protection.
On the other hand.... I hate blending into the masses...
My ducati = cheaper than a 08 cbr1000, 06 ninja 600, and the gixxer I looked at. I'd be curious to see what the difference with the 650 would be. If you want to go super cheap, check the cycle corner on here. Some guy is selling a green one in richmond that needs a tranny installed (has one to go with it)
In the past month I've sat on damn near every motorcycle available to me except the Italians. Out of all of them the Ninja 650 was the only one I had no issues with ergonomically (not including the spensive BMW GS).
I'm 6'2" 34" inseam, I seem to be too big for most bikes I want.

I'm aiming at a 4-8k price range.

I sat on a gs1200 in south africa and took it for a spin and was pleasantly surprised by it, but I would never daily one. It is made! to go off road.
Get something beautiful if you are willing to spend so much money on it...
