Well that's understood, but you can almost guarantee 90% of the others had maybe bolt-ons and no need to rev it up. It makes sense to have to hit the throttle harder to keep the idle up or to get going with high performance cams, fuel system, etc. I know with my stage 4 clutch I have to let out to go normal at 2k RPM or so, but 5k is just unneccessary. Sorry, I'm ranting.
Meh.. its highly unlikely we'd be able to flip the MGB.. but Im fairly confident it will run sub 13's on street tires.. the only Roll bar we have does more harm then good =/ Need to find one that actually fits without crushing your skull under acceleration/braking.
