okay guys, I finally got my Jet Ski.... but I am getting a little pissed when reading this registration thing.

I bought this jet ski from a guy in New York. The registration was up 2 months ago. Do I HAVE to really mail in my information to get it registered? Is there any office that I can go to like DMV to get it registered? I am reading and it seem like it takes up to 3 weeks. This is a mad long time. I read about the temporary registration, but it says that I can only do this if it was already registered in VA before. Man, this would suck big time if I have to wait sooooooo long.
Any of you guys have any ideas what I can do?

I took mine out yesterday too. Man, I had sooooo much fun. It was my first time on a jet ski.
Can you guy sit down while going fast on it? I had to stand up after a certain speed because the water was choppy.

I had a hard time afterwards cleaning though. At first I was not sure how to flush and I couldnt find anywhere to flush it. I think I read up enough to do a better job now though.

Anyone in Hampton? I launch from Hampton University campus. Is there any other launch ramps like at Buckroe Beach or anything? I was the only one on the water with a jet ski. Anyone who wants to launch there, just message me.

I am going out again this evening. Anyone want to join pm me and I will send my number. Anyone in Hampton, pm me and we can meet up and go out sometime. I am still brand new at this and loving it.

I got a 96 Sea Doo XP. It is in great condition, everything works and its a ton of fun.

I go out and go by the HR bridge tunnel area. There are lots of speed boats, sailing boats and finishing boats, but I long to see another jet ski on the water with me too. Where do the jet skis in Hampton go?

I am still getting used to high speed riding in the waves, the jumps and all.

This flushing and cleaning and WD40 it afterwards is a bit long though. I spend about 3 hours doing this after I ride.

Any of you guys on any jet ski websites? I am on pwctoday.com

Factory point is right off the hampton/poquoson shoreline. Its the very tip of the grandview natural preserve.
