If you're going to ride then you have to accept the fact that you're taking that risk every time you throw your leg over the seat. This one was unavoidable. Sooner or later you're going to crash, so just make sure you're prepared for it by wearing the right gear and keeping your cool if and when something happens. I'm just speculating but I don't think I would have been able to ride home if I hadn't been wearing my boots. I always wear my gloves but unfortunately I had taken them off for a few minutes and was going to put them back on when we got to a stop sign, but I didn't make it that far. I hit a big mound of dusty gravel and got sideways two or three times and almost got it straightened back up but it threw me off the right side of the bike and I slid a little ways down the road banging my Spec1R Extreme Max Biaggi replica helmet off the ground. That part REALLY upsets me.
I rode it home from the scene with a broken right rearset/rear brake lever and a pretty rashed up left palm. I put my gloves on hoping it would help stop the bleeding and prevent getting anything else in the rash and ended up having to peel my glove off of my hand. LOL! I had to bite my lip when I started scrubbing gravel out. That's the bad part.

I just can't do ricotta. The first time I had it at Ragazzi's was just a bad experience, so maybe it's really good and it was just bad when I tried it, but I hated it. I think maybe it was the texture, but I don't know. I can eat cottage cheese even though it has a disgusting texture, since it has virtually no flavor.
I wrecked my bike out your way today off of Rt 40 headed towards Rocky Mount from Rt 8. Fucking road is terribly washed out with gravel.
Velveeta grilled cheeses are the shit. use mayo instead of butter on the bread, and its crispy and loaded in cholesterol.
but goddamn good.
Ragazzis is not food, its crap with tomato paste sauce.
40 was pretty bad sunday when I was coming back from Martinsville, I figured someone would wreck either in the twisties between Runnet Bag and Shooting Creek, or on 58.
