Question. I had my 600 mile service not too long ago and I'm approaching 4,000 miles. Is there a 4,000 mile service that bike shops do? My service manual says to check a bunch of crap at 4,000 miles but I don't exactly know how to do all that, being a motorcycle newbie and all.

I would do what is in the manual. Also call a few shops to see what they do and how much they charge.
