Cycle whore thread
Yaaaay! Anoder one!
What year? Miles? Service records? And did you get a good deal on her?
Mods?
Make sure the clutch cylinder on the left hand side of the bike has been replaced.
Check for leaks from the master reservoir.
Clutch biting right? How about electronics? It's aircooled right?

99 900s.. 16k miles.. the guy i got it from did not have any service records, but said the owner before him was a triumph tech and took care of everything. but without records i plan on getting the valve clearance checked and the cam belts replaced just to be safe!
all clutch components look good and it grabs good. all electronics works aside from the low fuel light is always on. yes it is air cooled. and as far as mods it has k&n, frame sliders, and some mystery exhaust with no markings?

i already have ordered some tank grips, bar end mirrors, and the monster tailchop kit! i think she needs a bit of a tune up too because she sputters and hesitates soemtimes. but when it goes good its awesome. love the combo of the exhaust and the carbs fully opening up!

I just re-upped my insurance today...gonna re-register it with some custom tags tomorrow morning.
Check with State Farm, they are usually pretty hard to beat, I pay $33/month for 50/100/50 liability and $250 deductibles on Comp and Coll...GEICO had me at $217/month.
