Post pics of your ride!
got behind a red jeep on the way home from work today...i thought it was you until i passed them, turns out it was some hideous woman..so i was almost right.
Yea, it had a decent paintjob, which was full of dents... It all started w/ the door... It looked like someone had kicked it in and then there was what looked like a bullet hole in my quarter panel and the list goes on...
Got better (bigger) photos, I know the wheels arch gap is huge, I have a drop planned next and hope to complete it within a few weeks

^^^^^ That one is the spare, shiny
EDIT: By contrast here's how they will look once the new coilovers are installed

I have a set of BMW wheels for sale (Mille Miglia II's) and I'm thinking about sanding them down (some parts are a little rough) then rattlecanning them black. I think it would make them easier to sell if they looked a little better, are there any huge reasons why I should not do this? I've got the paint and primer all ready now and I'm in the process of sanding them down to smoothness. If they don't sell I'll probably keep them and put thinner tires on so they don't rub. Posting up to get the word our there and also get opinions on the color change. They are the wheels in my avatar. I'm NOT trying to sell them here in this thread (my FS thread link is in my sig), just posting pictures and trying to get opinions on whether the change in color will help the appeal.

Chris
But VA BMW fuckers aren't like most BMW fuckers. Nobody really seems interested in them (might just be that the paint is in rough shape) but I figured painting them black might appeal to people going for the black on black look or people who like black wheels on red cars. It's weird, they're listed as 300 wheels + Nittos and I can;t get rid of these things to save my life. What about gunmetal?
