You sure? 1198SP puts out 140bhp and the 312R is 180bhp, that's not a small difference. The 312R also has a smaller motor so it's going to be a hell of a lot more snappy on the low end. I think your Duc has met it's match...
anybody have opinions on icon airframe helmets?
i've been eyeing the airframe construct for a while and I'm about to pull the trigger.
I'm not a fan of ICON helmets, they're relatively heavy and only somewhat aerodynamic when you're looking straight...turn your head through a corner at a decent speed/check a blindspot and the wind just catches it.

I have an EXO-700, and I love it. Bonus: cost me $90!
I loved my EXO-700 until my g/f got me the Shoei 1100RF for our anniversary. For the price, it's hard to beat the EXO-700, IMO, but the Shoei is a way better helmet, which you'd expect with a jump of about $150/$200.
