Oh you're fine. I see where you're coming from. The dude's not proud of it, kinda ticked he let it go that far before fixing it. Fue un chiste para "Dope Status". I just like the Champion Reps

EDIT: This is the car. I'll probably make a thread later with the rest of the shoot of all three cars.

I do. my paint is ruined, its burned and peeling off from fitment, in the front and the rear, not actually a badge of honor, but it does show that your fitment is spot on. and especially that you aren't a little bitch by running air like most vw guys now. (no offense), the fender hitting the tire will not cause a blowout, i've had 3 sets of wheels where i completely rubbed a mm or two of tire square off and i had no problems. and i don't feel the need to get them sanded, painted and blended being that i'm going to keep having crazy fitting wheels so i'll keep burning through fenders. its mostly from rubbing when hitting bumps though. even the small ones

two different sets i've had

I guess it's just two different points of view.My point of view of "spot on" fitment would be to work the fenders just a very, very little amount more,to give you a little more travel, and probably not change the appearance at all anyway.Either way, your tires don't look to be getting anything but scuffed, where (and maybe it's just the pic)the silver car looks to be really eating into the sidewall.
I still like to enjoy a curvy backroad in my car,so I had to get a little more agressive with the fender work, but I can bottom the car front and rear with no rubbing.Granted,my fitment doesn't look as extreme, and I know that's what you're going for is the look
Chris

no i totally understand that side of the point. me personally i'm not into performance, or going fast around curves and whatnot. and if i was into that i woulden't run wheels that poke so far past the fender that i have to put a 205 on a 10" wide wheel and to be honest, sometimes you just have no choice. personally i love to tell people my crazy low offset wheels without fenderwork, especially telling people that have fenderwork and run the same size and offset wheel. the first wheels i just posted were rubbing so bad at first that it would produce tire smoke down the street, and you can smell rubber for minutes at a time. to me, that just means i have great fitment, to others (most others) think i'm an idiot. but hey its just what i'm into
