If you haven't done a event on it yet, you will love it. I think it is one of the best bikes for the task, regardless of experience, for the money.

I have done 4 on it now (all at VIR) and i decided that I wanna push it harder, and not care if I put it down. Got another traday comin in May. Veddy excite.

I plan on doing a weekend type school in the summer to learn proper techniques and such. Then beginner track days.

I don't wanna sway you in any direction, because you actually wanna learn, which is the way to go.

BUT, I did the Cornerspin school first, then all my other track days were Cornerspeed. I learned so much bike control in Cornerspin, I throw my SV around now like its a moped.

Yes. They teach you road racing in the dirt- seems kinda wacky at first, but it puts you in every type of situation you could ever run into on the track. The last session I was riding in I was getting a knee down while power sliding out of turns, like a bawse. (as was everyone else!)
