From 15/46 to a 14/49.
I don't know much about changing the sprocket sizes, will that really make a difference?

It'll lower the gearing, the topspeed will lower but the acceleration will increase.

Just +2 in the back is pretty common.

On average, 1 tooth in the front is equal to 3 teeth in the back.

So essentially I'm increasing my mechanical advantage by 6 sprocket teeth.

0-60 times will be better.

So you won't need to change your chain length? (under your specs you posted I'm talking about)

If you don't get the ratio right yes... but for me 14/49 is only a 9.3mm difference.

^ that thing is awesome.

I'd have to with it for a bit but I wonder if it's possible to change my top speed AND acceleration for the better

It's not. It's a zero-sum game. Your not gaining hp, just rearranging where it's applied.

I know :/ I just want some low end pick up and to be able to know my top speed isn't only 162.

I ride on 80-90% all side roads (I hate the freeway).

Most of my riding is 0-60 and I'll probably never track it, so it makes sense for me.

I'd rather have ripsnorting acceleration than a "fast" bike.
