There are three people on Emotion, out of 30 plus, who didnt build their cars with their own money, two of which arent in the top 20. Most of the members are hardly kids, have well paying jobs, and this is the second if not third or more car that theyve built. Oh and it helps to have great sponsors.

 

I take it you know some of these people? Is it true that people in emotion dont even know some of their crew members? I heard this from a friend whos a friend of someone in emotion.

 

there are a few of the outer chapters like Florida that most of the other members dont know..but the boston guys while only seen at two or three shows thruout the year are in regular communication, the new jersey crew, spends as much time with the central va/md crew as anyone else, regularly travelling, showing, partying and crashing with them and vice-versa.(green rx7 and white RSX) so while there are some new members that not everyone knows yet..it doesnt take long for them to be fully welcomed in by the whole team, some of the guys that just joined them end of last year or even beginning of this year..seem like old friends.

 

I respect the ones that came up by themselves without sponsors. (parents = sponsors just like any other company.)

Its not like we got sponsors to pay for the parts on the cars. We had to bulid them first before we got sponsors. (IE, we bought our rims with toyo tires, than when dunlop/nitto/falken sponsored us we swap the tires out) The sponsors only supply us with parts, NOT $$$$$. I believe we have 2 corporate cars but the labor was still paid by the indvidual owners.

I always wanted to know why Ultraspeed hates on Emotion... did we ever do anything to you? if so what exacatly was it that we did? As for the staring.. imagine if we did that to your banner/car at a show and posted it on the internet.. Wouldn't you be pretty pisssed??? If you guys had a problem we were all there for you guys to say something... So lets hear it once and for all..... Oh and that .gif image on IV, was done by someone on IV's board not by anyone affilated with Emotion...
