At least a few dsm's are back on the road. I put my tranny back in this weekend and fired the car up on saturday at like 2 a.m. with no downpipe on. I had forgotten the sound after driving a ford escort for the past few weeks but now the car is shifting perfect but I'm having some ignition issues after 4000 rpm. Maybe I need some new plugs and wires?

So when do the tuning sessions begin? Got the other issues worked out?

Anyone want a big turbo(HP61{GT35r})? Any word on that Brian?

Thanks again for coming through on that timing cover, it ended up fitting surprisingly. I ran at shelor saturday, traction was non existant and I only got 2 runs in, 1 included missing 2nd. I trapped 94 though on pump which made me happy, and I never got a chance to run it a third time after upping the boost more. I heard that shelor actually lengthened the track 20 feet? Is this true? I thought they were just lengthening the braking area.

They lengthened it 22 feet for "elevation compensation". 94 is pretty good..but I know it can do better. I trapped 95 on my 50 trim pump gas...about 440whp.

Yeah I agree, 95mph traps are def capable. Since I only got one semi good run in minus the launch I was limited in tuning. The wideband was 10.5:1 across the board so leaning that out to 11.1:1 will help me out. Timing is still at a conservative stock level, 16. Knock is almost non existant which is awesome. I need to calibrate my mas as well, so we'll see if that shows any benefits.
