I tried searching for factory point, but I cant find it on the map. Is there a address for it? Which road is is on? I found grandview natural preserve, but I dont know which road I would take to get to Factory Point. Is there anywhere that jet skiers normally congregate?

Is there any fresh water lakes around here to ski on?

 

Go to http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=wl type in "grandview natural preserve, va" The very tip of grandview natural preserve is factory point. On the map, select "satillite" and you'll see that there is actually an island there (which was once attached to grandview). As for getting there, im sure there are multiple ramps in Hampton, However, we use the ramp on Messick road in Poquoson. The place is usually crawling with jetskiers, my buddies and I are out there nearly everyweekend as well.

I am thinking of trying to see if I can get on Ft. Monroe now that its closed. I am not sure if civilians can get on. I will try. The place I launch from is mucky and when I take the ski out of the water it smells of dead fish.

Whats the plans for July 4th? Where's the popular hang out spots? Where are the spots on the peninsula side?

 

factory point is always packed with jetskiis. last weekend, i swear there were like 15 jetskiis out there, and it usually gets packed on holidays.

what kind of jetskiis are you guys riding?
