go to crownvic.net they have a whole 5.0 section on there with many many knowledgeable guys... there's actually a guy at one of the meets who has the old box style vic with a 5.0 in it that he completely rebuilt, thing is beast...

The 302 wont eat it ever, they're indestructable.
But if you want to get a good package, I reccomend Fordstrokers.com. I peiced together a full stroker shortblock + heads and a custom cam and it was like $3500. All you'd need is an intake and a tune and you could easily make 380-400whp.
