Well my day just went from shitty, to the actual inside of an asshole. ECU is bad she spat out a laundry list of fuckin codes. To be exact every sensor on my engine was supposedly bad. The service manager quoted me $658 to replace the unit plus labor. Fuckin fuck my life... Anybody wanna buy a procharger? Lol

Why dont you buyan ecu and replace it yourself? Or does it have to be reflashed by the dealer.

 

Go on eBay and search for a PCM for your car. The newest F-body is almost 10 years old. I'm sure you can find one for pretty cheap. Or you could call around to local junkyards and find one for pretty cheap. As far as the labor goes, replacing the PCM in a F-body is a 15 minute job so you should be able to do that yourself. The biggest issue is going to be getting the tune for the procharger on the car. Do you know who tuned it? If so contact them and see if they can do a flash with just a PCM or if they need the car there. Good luck.

edit: I just looked and a 2002 camaro PCM is going for 89 bucks on eBay.

That u know of any 02 pcm/ecu will work we covered tune already. Dtp did it and will not be doing it again. I just ordered one from ebay, hopefully its good seller has great feedback. Once I get it im goin to install it myself and then get it tuned.
