^hey hows that '87 2.3T going? I got an '86 that has a motor thats probably going to take a dump any day now. I wouldn't mind sticking a new motor that happens to bear a turbo in it. Most really catch people by suprise.
not so good, we had a really cold few days about a month ago and the ranger only had water in it, which froze solid. I thawed it out, but I believe a freeze plug popped on the rear of the block inside the bellhousing, so I have to pull the engine to fix the piece of crap.
The engine is pretty stout, put a new cam and followers in it when we got it, walbro 255, dsm injectors, tubular upper intake, 70mm throttle body, ss autochrome stainless header, some weird chinese hybrid turbo, 2.5" stainless downpipe and side exit exhaust and some random ripoff bov. The thing is a wiring nightmare acquired from the previous owner but we're sorting it out slowly.
