Sure ...it's called powerband. The s2k has no problem staying in it.

NO WAY a stock S2000 can beat a stock E46 M3. I don't care how good of a driver you are, there is NO FUCKING TORQUE in the S2000.

Sorry bro, it's been done. And by pro drivers too. Once again the S2k has no problem making power in the upper-registers. If you can't keep the car in the powerband, then maybe you should pick-up a different hobby. Maybe basketweaving.

Haha I don't think so, which is why it's funny that everybody is taking it so personal.

So since an S2000 > e46 m3, and a F body > s2000, then that means that an F body > e46 M3? So my car is better than an e46 M3? Thats awesome.

I have driven all 3 cars extensively...my money is on the bimmer and this is painfull for me to say since most bimmer owners are faggots.
So what you guys think about a e46 vs mildly modded evo?

What does that have to do with anything?

"all it honda-fanboy-number-wrangling if you like, but I found this somewhat interesting. Here are the top 10 fastest laptimes from last fall's runoffs and the position that they finished the race:

1:40:238 CTS (5)
1:40:287 SRT4 (6)
1:40:391 350Z (10)
1:40:535 CTS (1)
1:40:675 SRT4 (4)
1:40:745 Boxster (3)
1:40:941 Camaro (2)
1:41:033 M3 (11)
1:41:252 S2000 (19)
1:41:380 Camaro (7)

Clearly, the S2000 has the laptimes to justify it's classing in T2, but unfortunately it cannot pass the higher hp cars in the straights. From my own track experience, you make up A LOT of track position against F-bodies when braking for tight corners. Unfortunately, catching up to a car and passing a car are two entirely different animals."

Those words are from an S2000 owner who compete's in SCCA's Touring II class racing, which just happens to allow very limited modifications to the vehicles. IT seems to me like the F body's (both of them) placed ahead of the S2000 and M3. Not to mention one of them had a faster lap time than both, and going by your reasoning (one lap being faster on one single course makes the s2000 faster than the m3 forever and always), F body's are faster than s2000's on all road courses, and they're faster than M3's on all road courses. And Porsche Boxster's. And 350z's.
