Why they never update the Ninja 500. I miss my old one
They update the 250 and even make a Ninja 400 for our neighbors up North.

Because the 500 doesn't weight much less than a 600, while only trapping about 10mph more in the 1/4 than the 250.

It's a waste of a class, IMO. That's why they made 2 cylinder 650's, anyways.

I had a 500 at one point. It's just spec'd with cheap parts, so it performs accordingly.

Those bikes were tanks as far as reliablity. Not to pleasing on the eye, but the rest was solid. Sold mine for $50 more than I bought her for after 2 years, and 2 drops.

What front tire should I get? Bridgetstone Battlax BT016 ($80) or Shinko 003 ($60).
