Secondly, Car and Driver's number came directly from Honda so once again, I'm going to have to call bullshit on you.
Mated with a new six-speed manual transmission (the shifter has migrated back down from the dashboard), it delivers enough punch, Honda tells us, to hustle the coupe to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds.
So when you're done fabricating results and telling people what it's "supposed" to run, check out what it actually runs. And remember that the Mazdaspeed Miata (a true sports car) is faster than the 2006 Civic Si is stock.
I still can't believe that any person who knows the first thing about cars could possibly think any FWD vehicle is a sports car.

3 bolt ons are not going to get that car into the 13s, I can't believe people are arguing that a FWD civic is a sports car. Go back and do some research. In the 50s the first real sports car were introduced. Those were all rwd.
