Undercover Cops Posing As Tuners
Just a quick question I didn't see answered, is this State or Local Police, becuase unless this is a joint effort with different cities, how can VA BCH police arrest you for racing in say, NN ??
Only the state police can do that, unless this was a joint effort between different law efforcement agencies.

any cop can pull you anywhere he/she wants.... All they have to do is call a local unit after pulling you and then they pass info and the local officer writes the sitation stating officer "so and so" witnessed " what you got pulled for "

Do I smell a court case against the Virginia Beach Police Department or what? Please someone correct me if I am wrong... But that is just my .02 cents...
Id love to see someone with good photography skills post pics of these cop "tuners" if they suspect they are them. It should be pretty obvious who these guys are, cause knowing the Cops around here theyve been watching Fast and the Furious for thier breifings lol.

oh and by the way, we are looking into requesting that tint/exhaust/etc be put into a sub-grey area of the laws. it may be a shot in the dark but its worth a try. some of the officers view the exhaust laws unfair because some vehicles come stock that break the allowed decibel level. for instance harley's are ridiculously loud for being stock. just giving a heads up.

You can not become a cop untill the age of 21. You can be 20 and be eligible to apply. 20 and 1/2 at time of Academy admission. Academy is 24 weeks ( just about 6 months). So upon time of graduation, you would be 21.
But it also says that you are in the Military.

Again. YOU MUST BE 21 TO ACTUALLY BE A COP (In Virginia Beach anyways; which is where this dude lives). You can be 20 at time of application, which I already stated. I know this because I have been persuing a career in criminal law for some time now.

What are the age requirements?
Applicants must be 20 years of age to apply, 21 years of age at the time a recruit completes the basic academy"(Which is exactly what I stated before. So shut the fuck up.)" and is sworn in as a Police Officer. There is no maximum age for participation in the academy. Typically, the age of recruits ranges from the low-20's to the mid-40's. Sworn police officers do face mandatory retirement at age 65.

Same with illegal guns, soliciation, etc. There are many cases where the police possess or offer illegal things in order to catch those who are breaking the law.

This issue ^ has been bothering me for a long time now. Your explanation is actually the best response I've received yet, but I still don't see it justifying the legal use of an unsafe vehicle just because one is a police officer. What makes driving this vehicle significantly and legally safer to the public and the driver when a police officer is behind the wheel? One could argue their driving training, but what about all those that consistently take professional driving courses? Their training has no bearing.
Just something to ponder about... One of these days I want to try and find time to sit down with an officer just to clarify and discuss all of these laws.
