mustangs tend to read a bit lower than typical dynojets..

I can't remember the percentage, but then again you can change the weight and such to make the dyno read diff...so yah..

Gotcha.

I'm thinking about maybe going down there next weekend and getting mine on the dyno. I really have to work out this misfiring issue because its killing me. The run with Ben (k20) was pretty solid, it didnt miss much. The first and last races though went downhill for me once it went into limp mode. I hope that wouldn't happen on the dyno...so i gotta get it worked out...maybe it was just my low gas level? I need to do some logs, know what boost im running, and get the cutouts open...then adjust the timing and boost from there.

What happend the first run? I see you and J take off and the hatch was left then you and the hatch took off right beside me and yall were even. I atleast beat somebody the last one, the evos took off and I got the jump on the hatch but he caught back up but didnt pass me. Prob. wasnt spaying though.

seems like their mustang doesn't read that much lower than a dynojet...

Yeah count me out of those pulls last night. My car totally got owned once i hit fuel cut/limp mode. So all in all, the only thing i got out of it was knowledge that I really need to do some tweaking before goin out next time!

Haha, yeah, it still was fast though. Mine was cutting out to on the way home trying to pass these tractor trailors that wouldnt get out the way. And earlier lastnight i was getting gas and i went to start it and it would idle for about .2 sec. and just die and it did that for about 5 more times.

Mustang dynos are more accurate. Dynojets are for bragging.

like you said above, you can change the entered weight of the car, which would change the measured output.maybe they're entering a lower weight?on my cars with an entered weight of 2400lbs,i'd say there was a 15% loss.the guy that tunes my cars has tuned several Hondas on his Mustang dyno, then put them on a Dynojet(owners wanted charts they could compare/brag to other cars),and he saw a 5%-10% higher output on the Dynojet.
an EVO's a good bit heavier,so it should see an even bigger loss on a Mustang if the true weight is entered.....
