wow its amazing how the same people come to every thread to talk shit all the time...

And Quik, when I laughed at you saying youll run 12's, it was becuz it will take more than what you stated......
P.S. look into Wolf 3D, its completely a better EMS than the Haltech IMO....
I love it and feel a million times safer when I get to those higher RPM's....Now that I got a T04E on its way to replace the T3, Im happier I got the EMS, before the turbo

man, u seem super knowledgable on that shit. i'm pretty dumb in that area of performance. i'll want to PM you sometime and get some advice. as for me running high 12s, the car is already capable of it. the previous owner pulled it off when he upped the boost a little, but i run the turbo at normal boost right now 7 to 8 psi. he had a manual boost controller and i don't.

well i suppose 7 - 8 is normal with the set-up i have. but i have never exceeded 8, in fact i have always been just a bit short of 8.0. still, i know my car could handle a little more boost.

I know I am. I have no idea what i am doing. From my experience so far, this car may have less moving parts but it is tempromental as a bitch. Basicly it does what it wants when it wants.

Ill be ethier cleaning my 5th and 6th ports this weekend or wiring them open if they are frozen and cant be fixed. I found a really indepth how to on rx7club.com that tells everything step by step.

P-money i did what suggested and changed the water pump. So far it hasnt operated over a 1/4 on the gauge.

I def will keep a eye on it. I am now suffering from the hot start problem and still have the hesitation problem. Hopefully cleaning the 5th and 6th will do it. If it doesnt im stumped. I looked at the ecu to see if there are any cold solders on it. I was told there would be a brown spot on the chip or some discoloration but it looks fine to me. If all else fails i might bum a ecu off a friend and try that. May look at the exhaust and see if the cat is clogged. I need to take that outta there anyhow.

that car has been suffering form the hot start problem for forever. the hesitation has always been there.

i'd take a chance at maybe getting a different ecu and swappin it to. find a used one real cheap and see how that works. and you cat may be clogged because i remembered once when we revved it, some dirt/metal shit shot out the exhaust. i have no clue where it came from.

can you powerwash a cat to clean it out?
