as far as twisting the truth....have you ever known someone who drag races in the "street legal" class?....go check those cars out that win thousands of dollars every season and have multiple trophies....go up to one of those guys and tell them they don't deserve that award because their car really isn't street legal (usually catless so that alone makes them illegal)....kinda overanalyzed the whole stock turbo thing....and i am kinda defendin the unabomber cause that's my boy but i'd pretty much say the same thing to anyone who makes a big deal outta somethin that's kinda insignificant...

btw...i have the record for the fastest wrx with sti interior in smithvegas

I am still running a 100% stock TD04-13T turbo. It has been ported and polished. The wheels are 100% OEM with no clipping and the wheels are 100% OEM. If you idea of a stock turbo is different, then we have a differing viewpoint. I could see some hate if it was clipped or I did a wheel swap, but nothing was done to the turbo that I couldn't do myself with air tools. And if people still feel this way....well, we all have our opinions. 
I'm just happy to be putting aftermarket turbo power down with my little old TD04-13T. I think it all boils down to wagon jealousy.
