let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
Just some updated pics since its been a while. As the engine bay sits the things that are left to be done are, add in 4 EGT sensors themselves (the amplifier is located near the PS pump), run lines for the wastegate and BOV signals, and finish up making a fuel pump/surge tank system. The radiator in these pics was removed as I'm installing a pusher fan beneath a custom shroud that I made, and the radiator simply had to be removed in order to install it.

The intake pipe has a 45* bend right beneath the 90* turndown, so that airflow is directly aimed at the filter

Shroud installed on the radiator

Shroud/Radiator installed in the car.

Old Engine harnesses vs new

CF Hood installed

Aerocatch pins

S2000 Cluster

Leather recaro seats
The endcaps on the sideskirts are removed so that the jack/stands wouldnt interfere with them and havent been reinstalled since lowering the car. The rear seat is removed as I'm working on getting the fuel system squared away now.

The money involved depends on how you look at it. I do my own work so no cost was associated with labor. The fuel used is E85, so it is dirt cheap. The gauge cluster is custom done by me and I run almost no gauges, so no money is associated with them. I run an AEM, but it is a custom 1050u integra box that has a built in wideband that actually gives me a net profit when you consider the purchase of DSMlink, eprom, wideband, the boost solenoid, and the sale of my profec B, and 2g MAS. The trans is a built auto trans that I did myself which does have some pricey parts such as the kiggly clutch pack and a 9.5" PI billet converter, but a shep stage 4 and a QM twin disk is a far cry more money and IMO less robust. The shearer manifold is $, but I got it new in the classifieds along with the downpipe for around 1000 bucks and then sold my FP turbine housing and FP race manifold and got back a significant portion of that money.
So, I do have money in it for sure, but since I do virtually all my own work and a lot of the custom stuff that I did trims the "fat" from otherwise crappier systems IMO, I haven't spent what a lot of guys do.
