let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
SubscribeAround 2700-2800 bucks or so now, not including a 1000 dollar twin disk clutch.
The kiggly clutch pack ran me 784 shipped ,the PI torque converter was 935 shipped, the custom one-off 4 spider center diff was say 300 or so, translab shift kit was 80 bucks, 100 for the kiggly flex plate, 150 for the B&M trans cooler/SPAL fan, and then the rebuild kit was around 200 dollars for the various gaskets and seals. So you're looking at 2550 for absolutely everything associated with the trans, which was easily paid for by the sale of the shep trans and QM twin disk, and I SHOULD have a more stout trans capable of even better times now. The parts included in this trans build could have easily just been a standard restalled stock converter and a double stacked flex plate, but I wanted ideally the best possible right from the start so why not.
I also have a custom billet steel rear diff cover to eliminate the mounting point breakage issues that high powered 2g's have.

Geez.. I guess he knows how good his stuff is now!
Well, if anything on that car, you have to make the drive train strong.. because I'm sure you know how it can go with those cars. I had my share of troubles with my 91GSX (mostly drive train) except for this damn idle surge that I could never get rid of lol

That shifter looks so goofy.. I'm still voting for the ratchet shifter!
Thing is going to haul ass.
I wish I had the patience to make my engine bay that clean.

I sure hope so
. It just is going to be a ton of initial troubleshooting to get the thing up to speed at the beginning with virtually everything having changed.
