I almost bought that EM1 its from BBurg dood worked at Best Buy.
I herd some neg. things aobut seller so i didnt buy it.

 

Coilovers came in the mail today. will edit with unboxing pictures later

EDIT: finally got around to getting them out of the box, and to be honest I don't know jack shit about what I'm looking at, so we're gonna play a game I'm going to take educated guesses at what the pieces are and you 1) can be entertained 2) watch me reinforce the negative BMW driver stereotype that we don't know shit about cars and maybe 3) correct me where i'm wrong and teach me something.



From left to right:

Rear springs, rear shocks (will replace with Bilsteins ASAP), this is the only one that i really have no clue what the fuck it is but it looks to me like something that would sit around the rear shock and allow for ride height adjustment, front struts with coilovers (gonna get tabs welded so I can mount anti roll bars)

Not sure how I'm going to install these, probably in a month (waiting for rear Bilsteins and maybe camber plates) or so I'll crawl up under and just mess around a little until shit just fits together. Really don't want to pay for an install

 

i dont know what the fuck an em1 is, but that is a nice looking civic lol i like the license plate too.

 

EM1 = VIN code for the Civic Si with the factory b16. The other civics are denoted EJsomethings from the years 96-00.

Im sure you didnt care about it though. :P

 

I figured that would be the first thing I heard. Had a tad bit of clearance with the stock one, and my coilovers were just ordered so i figured I will get one when they get here.

nosir, all stock internals. The head has been shaved 10thousands just because had a blown headgasket when I got it.
Paint and body are all original, however a respray is not to far in the future.

Wish I would have got the heads up because we did run into a few issues. Overall still a pretty good car.
