Only thing I'll argue with this is that from a "in case shit happens" standpoint it's better to have the 30yr (less is required per month), but even if you have a 30yr you can make payments as if it was a 15yr. Down side is the interest rates on a 15yr tend to be lower (.5-.75 a percentage point) but interest is a tax write off so it's twat ever.
