I don't understand peoples logic. If you don't drive / race your car at a track, why should it be set up to do well at a track. I think it's a lot stupider to make your car handle amazing with uber jdm suspension parts dipped in gold and then just drive it around on the street, as opposed to making your car look good but not handle so amazing.
well, it all depends. having a low car isn't exactly practical, but it's not something to get mad or indignant about when someone else does something to their car.

Because you should be able to at least DRIVE a car from point A to point B without breaking things and being pulled over by the cops.
Obviously, the owner's number one priority isn't handling or ride quality. The vast majority of cars in this thread fit the same description......Is it really something that needs to even be mentioned? It isn't the performance car thread.
Yea, I didn't mean to open that can of worms (or else I wouldn't frequent this thread), more just answering kim jong illin's question from the last of page.
ZOMG ALL CARS SHOULD BE BUILT FOR PERFORMANCE!!! HOW DARE YOU LOWER A CAR BEYOND WHAT IS RECCOMENDED?!?!!!
The funniest thing is, 95% of the people who bitch about a cars suspension geometry being "ruined" cant tell you why its ruined, what caused it to be ruined, and what affect it will have on a cars actual handling.
And even if they could, they still couldnt drive well enough for it to make a difference, since the car will outdrive them even in stock form.

Well you guys are going to the other extreme, the concerns raised aren't because it'll run VIR 2 seconds slower, but rather that it would impede normal spirited driving on normal streets. But like it's been said, this thread is about cars to drool over rather than practicality.

up at SAGE the other day and knoop (wishihadasilvia) was doing some fender work on a customers car... we put this wheel on to see what it would look like for shits and giggles..
13 inch wide wheel with a 265 tire stretched to hell on it haha...
