I pulled my battery last winter
it's on a charger now in hopes of riding this weekend
rule of thumb is that if it's going to be sitting, either have it disconnected or on a charger. same goes for any battery that isn't "deep cycle"

not sure... obviously frequent use is best, and the longer you go the worse it is for your battery. I'd say if it's going to sit for a month or more, disconnect. I'm pretty sure the battery on my project car is toast because it's been sitting too long with only occasional charging.
I pull my battery out every winter for about 2-3 months. Usually I charge it up like every 3 weeks. However, I moved and no longer have that charger. So just wanted to know if I'd still be good in the spring.
