well this is kinda late but I bought my H&R springs on ebay for only 140 shipped.

 

i used a rubber eraser wheel on a pneumatic die grinder on my black car, worked like a champ and didn't fuck with the paint at all (after i waxed it).

but i worked 20 yards away from a body shop, walked over and asked for it. i doubt you'll have it that easy, unless you know someone who works at a body shop.

 

Good lord, you can get Tein SS (or was it Basic) sets for small change more than $930 if you have a Civic/Teg.. Then you'll have matched components and ride height adjustmemt.

Tein stuff, 94-01 Integra
$730 for Tein Basic coilovers and $950 for Tein SS with 16 way adjustment..I wish I still had a Honda, the parts are cheaper than Suby stuff.

tein basics are exactly what i would get if they were in the low $700 range for my car...i haven't found them for an 01 civic for less than high 700's and low 800's...

 

High 7s to low 8s is less than $930, isn't it..?
