Yeah and I did because I:

1. Didn't have a garage to attempt it in.
2. Didn't have another car to drive.

Your dad has like 100201 cars that i guarantee he would let you drive. Plus, you can do it in your driveway. I would have done it in my driveway in a weekend if i HAD to.

I get aggrevated I walk away. I couldn't leave my car sitting on jackstands in my driveway. Stupid fucking nazi neighbors would call the city cause it "isn't safe". Raven gave me a good deal. He changed my plugs, put in my LT's, and TD's for $150. It was either that or wait until I could possibly do it somewhere else. I could've done it, but ATM it was the easiest thing to do IMO.

Also, let's not forget the value of a good beater. Buy a Honda for $1K and drive it while you work on an S4. Then when the S4 is back together you can pull the motor out of the Honda, sell it for $300, and sell the shell for $5K.

SUCKS FOR YOU I GOT A GARAGE LOLZ.

And yeah, my neighbors did that shit to me when I had the Mustang facing the street on jackstands with the front end off. So we put wheels on it and turned it around, jacked it back up, and threw a tarp over it.

My dad was working on the tranny on a Hyundai he had. It was giving him problems. He had it up on jackstands in 4th gear. The neighbors called the police. It had two jackstands and a jack underneath it and the e-brake for good measure.

I was thinking possibly another Civic. Good fuel economy, with a swap it'd be ok, not to heavy on the wallet across the board. I only got rid of mine cause I couldn't afford two vehicles.

Then I was also thinking a WRX. I can go to a dealer only auction and with the price I'm seeing some 02's go for I was thinking I could probably get one around 10K (dealer auction of course), but insurance on an AWD turbo car that's only 4 years old probably would be kinda expensive.

I'd like a turbo diesel truck, but again my wallet would be the lightest with this one considering fuel economy and insurance.

I'm trying to stay under 10K. Please give me some opinions/options and please state your reasoning behind it. Maybe you guys can help me decide on something I don't have listed. And before anyone says LS1 trust me I'd love to have another one, but it's very hard to find a GOOD one sub 10K and insurance would kick my ass even being 22 and a perfect driving record (knock on wood)

pics dark but you get the point

try a rwd import or domestic. which ever fits you style and preference. with the domestics tho you can put just as much in a them as you would in a import and the domestic will still be better. but thats your decision not mine beside i'm not crackin on imports or domestic because i've owned both. they are both fun.
