someone whould ask for a part and go up there to look at the stuff and snap a couple pics of some vins

 

I dont even think the thieves are that dumb, they probably pull the part before you get there, an vins are probably scratched.

 

try again thats my friends dad and i can tell you that he buys and sells civic wrecked and whole and is 100% legit. all his motors are d series

 

A suggestion for those looking to mark their parts. using a dremel to etch your name or info can easily be sanded down. If you use a metel stamping tool, it will compress the metal where you stamped the letter and leave a permanent impression into the metal. If someone sands or grinds the information down, The police can raise the lettering the same way that it is done on motorcycles that have the vin numbers stamped into the side if the neck. I doubt it. I googled his phone number and I drive by that guys house all the time. He's got a lot of Civics but they're all plated and on the street.
