I saw a Mustang do that a while back but going faster than that.. Came straight off of the entrance ramp and into the concrete barrier right by the Orange Avenue entrance going towards Elm. The car went in the air, then they went to the other side of the road, straightened the car out, and kept going. Had to have been drunk!

I've also been nearly hit head on in the same stretch of road by a car going the wrong way on 581, with no headlights, and apparently no fear. If I hadn't swerved out of the way or been paying attention, I'm sure I wouldn't be here. They were either trying to play chicken, or so drunk/drugged that they didn't know wtf was going on. There was a state trooper waiting to turn left at the Elm Avenue light where I got off at. I literally got out of the car and approached his window to let him know someone was going to get killed if they didn't stop that car. He seemed very uninterested, said he would check it out, and went the opposite direction on his merry way. I wonder if anyone died that night as a result.

So what's the deal with the Camaro? Did it immobilize them, or did they keep going? That's nuts.

The car just bounced all over the place. It was the driver's side that hit the median and I just saw camaro headlights going all over the place in the air haha. They just kept driving but I guarantee he needs an alignment, maybe a new wheel and possibly control arm? Who knows, it was bad though haha.

 

That's crazy. How do you hit something like that and just keep going? I don't care what I'm driving.. I'm going to want to check that shit out immediately.

 

haha,i have a friend who years ago hit one of these with a Neon(possibly on purpose).the car rode up the side of it,did a sort of skateboard-like grind with the undercarriage of the car on top of the barrier,then it rode back down the barrier to the road.good stuff!busted the oil pan at some point but pretty much no damage otherwise,dammit.

...like, stunt style riding on two wheels down the highway until you sat it back down. Awesome!

 

oh ok. If it is the same guy then I met him afew weeks ago. Him and his friends were really nice. Yea from what I was told it should be pretty stout. Car looks good with those tires.
