You sure? I thought scrambler was originally a generic term from back-in-the-day for any motorcycle that was converted to a dual-sport.

I know Honda had them as well. I think it was just a term for that style bike (knobbies/header exhaust up high/more dirt oriented etc).

They're British... They had questionable electrics, but the core of the bike is extremely reliable. Triumph parallel twins are 100k mile motors.

You sir are correct. It's a generic term for any street bike that was converted for off-pavement use.

Far from it, most of the stretched Hayabusas never get used as drag setup...
That thing probably gets pushed to it's limits and tears some shit up.

But the same in the fact that it's no longer as it was intended, and in my opinion, removing the skill from it.
Buy a trials bike, screw that thing.
