NVM, worked out perfectly, by the time I finished eating the rain was done.

 

 

Wife and I got soaked riding on Friday in WV. Never ridden through anything like it. I literally couldn't see 20 feet in front of me. We were about 30 miles away from our cabin with about 26 of those miles consisting of either dirt or gravel, the other 4 were proper paved roads. That was some intense rain.

Sooo..

Drove all the way to TN this weekend to pick up a Honda Grom from a 'family friend' that owns a powersports store in Chattanooga. He had taken early delivery of several and he was supposed to give me a 'good deal'.

Well, turns out that he thought my Dad and his conversation while at a work event was just drunken chit-chat. So I get all the way down there and these several are already spoken for.

Granted, he was thoroughly embarrassed and said the next one was mine but he wasn't sure of the next delivery as Honda has limited the dealerships receiving them. I dunno.

On my long pissed off drive home, I think I have decided I'll just get what I really want (even though that changes day-to-day) and just get a BMW GS or a Triumph Speed/Street.

End rant.

 

That sucks man. The Grom looks SO FUCKIN FUN
