SRT4's? Not generally. The only real problem I had with mine was a short in the engine wiring harness, which was replaced under warranty. Other than that mine gave me no trouble, and I beat the fuck out of it.
Usually around 400-450whp you'll start breaking axles, but other than that everything is pretty bulletproof.

yea, what kinda mods are we looking at for a strong 300-350whp srt

No, it's not actually. There are a LOT less SRT-4s out there than Civics. SRT-4s, ahem, I mean Neons, are known for getting abused.
