Acura NSX
honestly, you have to drive a supercharged NSX.
if someday you ever get a chance to drive a supercharged nsx, then you have the right to say if it's a waste or not.
I drove one with short gears, I/H/E and comptech s/c
i defintely think it's not a waste of money, but that's just my opinion
I meant reliable as in not breaking down in the middle of the highway, or random bull shit where your left stranded waiting for a tow truck. I had a lot of cars that were unreliable, and yes one of them was a ford. also my RX-7, even though I love it to death, its finicky as hell. so i've been through a good amount of shit with unreliability. So through my past experiences with other vehicles, yes I can say the NSX is relaible as hell because it is a damn Honda, I never had a serious problem getting the car to perform the way it was made to do.
please refer back to my reply about your opinion of a supercharged NSX

I guess when you pay 80k for 270 hp...paying an extra 12k for 100 more hp doesn't seem that much.
I've driven one thanks. And adding an extra 100hp would have made it better, but still a waste of money imo.
i am talking about the performance it gives when it is supercharged.
for the same amount of money, more nsx owners are moving to turbos now.
most turbos nsxs are pushing 400-500 hp for the same amount of money. motor not rebuilt and it's tuned with an AEM
And srlsy....
I can think of 3 cars on top of my head that performed on par or even slightly better than the NSX in the early-mid 90's with less than 40k to spend.
E36 M3 (even in its gay watered down US version)
Mazda Rx7
C5 vette

When you get in the world of near $100k cars, you can't really justify anything.
Well, I guess you can justify whatever it is you've done throughout life that afforded you the opportunity to blow that kind of money on a car.
you have fully tested your hatred towards the NSX with a passion,
i'm could go on and on, but im going to stop right here.
because all you have to do is read this old thread.

I think Xavier (H22EG8) explains it all.
