There is always someone out on the road for some reason or another, late night at work, evening shift, coming home from vacation with the kids sleeping in the back seat, and we have to worry about a car or motorcycle barrelling up behind us at 600 mph because someone wants to show off how fast their moped is. I ride and have been for 3 years now, guess what, i dont race my bike, never have, never will, unless i randomly hit a track, i dont haul ass down the street, ever. Anyone i ride with can vouche that, i enjoy my motorcycle, and enjoy my life. I also have a conscience and do not want to be responsible for someone elses life when i smash into a vehicle at 150 + mph and kill some innocent child or adult or my self. You can call me immature if you want, but lets put things into perspective, which one of our opinions is the more mature?? I know you are boys with Jake, who is my boy, and i have seen you in person, but that isnt going to stop me from stating my opinion, and calling anyone out. Sooo, to each his own.
very well put.

Of course there's probably people out running their bikes right now in the streets, doesn't mean we have to start making threads about it in the cycle corner. I honestly cannot recall a single thread in the cycle corner in the past couple of years I've been on here where someone talked shit about the other rider and that causes a thread to be started and people actually end up running AND making a thread on it. What happened to PM'ing each other and Road Kill threads? I don't know either one of you but it's obvious at some point you both wanted to let everyone know that they weren't going to let the other talk shit to them and let everyone think they weren't going to do nothing about it. Who cares, it's the internet. Okay you guys had a back and forth and finally settled it and no one got hurt, great, I'm glad no one got hurt, but now you got other people posting on how they're pissed they didn't make it to the run and others talking about how there will be more runs in the future, I mean really? Really? You guys didn't know each other before you guys did the run, didn't know if what any of the other person was saying was true or not and you decide to meet up and run and now others are wanting to run......... I see a bad trend starting and it's not gonna end well. All we need is some noob with a couple months riding experience who thinks they're near invincible on the bike to get on here and to want to get down on one of these runs when they shouldn't and it ending badly, then what's the news article going to say? 'The riders setup the race beforehand on a local motorcycle enthusiast forum VaDriven.com' just like they called out those guys running the chop shop from being on here.......... Seriously? You guys are talking about modding your bikes and making another street run in the future?? Seriously? If you're planning that far ahead why not set a track date and REALLY settle who the better rider is?

My point is, there's no point to this thread anymore, you guys settled your 'beef', the only thing this thread can do now is possibly lead to someone else wanting to do a run and make a thread or post about it since it was okay to do exactly that with this thread and that leads to future posts/threads about doing a street run........ this can only happen so long before it doesn't end well. What other reason do we have for this thread to still be around? How bout we leave the street racing setup talk in the streets and not start advocating it on here?

and if you ride your motorcycle and you do not get on it, then more power to you, but i got a motorcycle for the excitement not the boredom.....

I was joking when I made that post... I have already PM'd both parties before that post was made. Did I want to see this? Yea.. I was wanting to of coarse... my bike was hit yesterday and my clip-on was bent. I was not going to be racing it at 120+ with a bent handle bar. And the 636 is in peices being prepped for paint. So... Sorry if you took that the wrong way.. I was just messing with everybody else.
