Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
I might pay a grand for one in good shape, just to play around with. It's all the aftermarket parts that have me interested.
But I could buy another decent used street bike for a little over $2500; there's no way in hell I'd buy a new one.

I bought mine for 2k, with 43 miles on it, the guy paid 2.7k for it brand new, deals are out there. The thing i like is the whole "no insurance, registration or license" needed, so its alot cheaper than a street bike, and imo, safer, because i cant stunt this thing, lol

you aint gotta tell me, i already get 28mpg ( wooo) but im a soda ringer at a gas station ( as rebroded likes to call me, but he rings parts up for a auto store) so i see gas fluctuate every day.

I'd love to get one but my work commute takes my up VB Blvd and that seems borderline suicidal if I can only get up to a 35mph cruising speed.
i havent calculated the mpg's as i let it warm up for a good 15 mins before i ride. idk how big you are, but 40 is do able JT2339423423847923742389 got it up to 40 last night, and he is slightly heavier than me
im about 5'11-6'0 @ 250 lbs, i average around 40-44 on flat grounds. no "performance parts" just a carbon kevlar belt.
Yeah, I just can't get pulled over after I swap mine(when I get it), In VA, anything bigger than a 50cc technicly requires a Class M license. lololol...fuck that. Though, I was planning on getting a bike in my time without a License, for those exact reasons, just not till I get mine back.
