Quick question, when you are rebuilding your motor, have you ever thought about their stroker kit? If not, why.

once you go with a stroker rig, your taking away the reving ability.
if you want more displacment then you have to sacrifice rev's...
take terry for example.
676whp out of a 1715cc motor reving to 10,500rpm.
prolly the broadest powerband from a high HP 4cyl i have seen in a long time.
thing is above 500whp for about 4,000 rpm.

so do you want to rev to 10k or do you want to go with a stroker crank and gain some displacment and sacrifice 2,000 - 3,000rpm rev potential?

IP doubt hed be sacrificing 3000 revs, but i do think that the extra torque would help more than the revs hurt.

I have but John, the owner of Inline, wants to test everything him self first. I talked to him about it but he didnt seem like he really wants to make one for turbo. I guess he may do one sometime?

torque is nice...
but it all depeds on what the car is being used for.
as for the reving and stroking issue... remember what kills an engine... torque.
i did say 2k - 3k rpm...
3k is a bit extreme in the honda world... but in other's its not uncomon...
our 20v 1781cc engines are reving to 10k safely, stroke it to 2.0 and your seeing guys gut thier bottom ends at anything over 6800rpm.
thats 3200rpm... unless my math is wrong.

you also have to factor in gear... if you don't have enough gear, you can wind the shit out all you want and still go nowhere fast

i beg to differ.

there's a lot of money in that thing. not saying it's not quick, it's decent speedwise... but speed for dollar.. you got a terrible deal.. with the ammount of money that's in your car, i prolly could have built 2-3 cars to match my dreams and still have money left over with no clue what to do with..

i won't rag on you for talking shit because i probably talk more of it.. haha

Oh, I know that I could of had 3 11-10sec Civics or 2 10sec Z28s. But thats the hole point. No one really has a fast S2K. Non in the 10s, maby high to mid 11s. I just want a low 11 sec S2K, thats it.
