how long do you guys typically get out of a rear tire?
conditions: fairly newb rider, so chicken strips. also, mostly commuting, so center wearing out faster.
I've got ~5400 miles and I'm not quite down to the wear indicator, but I'll probably be there in the next 1500 or so.

Sport tires: 3000-6000

Sport touring tires: 6000 - 12000

In my opinion...

The vast majority of American sport bike or naked bike riders would be better served with ST tires.

i'm on bt-45s, so sport touring. guess i'm not too far off in terms of wear. I'll probably make it to the end of the season on my current tire, then put a new one on for next season.
