still heavy and slow.

It is about 10-15 lbs heavier than my fully dressed and long-ride ready VFR.
The engine is about 400cc's larger too but it only manages to crank out about 10 hp more than a stock VFR.
Haha. You're not wrong, but I think I'd still rather have a 2014 ZRX-1200 DAEG

They still make them, just won't import them.

I would like to see a torque comparison between the VFR and the ZRX though. That could be interesting.

It's got some impressive low-end torque for an inline 4. Most of that can probably be attributed to the engine size and rather large flywheel though. Gear changes are easy, so putting around town is effortless and fun. But you get up into the rev range and the ZRX is almost done, where the VFR is just getting started.

Edit: oh I almost forgot, not having a windshield on the zrx means not having as much fun on the highway. You're more upright than on the vfr and the wind beats you to pieces.

bike currently out of commission. it's misfiring like crazy at the moment when under load. signs point to either a bad coil or maybe a fuel issue (clogged jet in the carb). don't really have the time to be messing with it though.

I can't be the only one who thinks those wheels are really out of place on that thing...

Yeah I realized that after I posted it. Still a pretty good idea of the general shape. I think it might actually look better in a dumbed down street version.
