yep..they said you can launch on the dyno..and they have done it sucessfully..but ill have to see it myself.

I'd like to see how the dyno compensates for wheel spin.

i dont know..they said,as soon as your car moves..it starts the QM..so i assume whatever traction issues you have on the dyno will resemble "real life" traction problems.

I was thinking about that the first time we did it too...I figured the car wouldnt spin tires therefore time could not be too accurate, however, the dyno lets your car break traction and times seem to be pretty close to where they supposed to be.

My only prob with that is the fact that the straps pull you down so depending on how tight they are more traction could be gained.

But props to the genius' who finally purchased an awd dyno.

My car will hopefully be on there in a few days.

The dyno is accurate up to .02 seconds on the dyno. We did a couple 1/4 mile pulls on stock and turbo cars and came pretty close to factory numbers and the numbers that the turbo cars have put down in the past.
