I hit the road within 30 minutes of the snow starting, and there was already a car that had taken out the guardrail on 199. Then there was the jackass doing 20 on the colonial parkway down by Yorktown where there was only water on the road. VA people can't drive in the snow.
Oh, and I drove by Ft. Eustis on my way back (there was a tree blocking the road on the colonial parkway on my way back, so I had to hit 17). There's no snow in that area, just water. Plus, they already had the plows going like crazy. I can see it now
"Yes, finally we can justify all these plow purchases!"
"But sir, it's just water"
"We're gonna plow the shit out of this bitch"

i dont understand on how they give VB schools a 2 hour delay when 13 news said that the roads are supposed to freeze throughout the day because temps are going to still drop
